Dear Romantics,

Love is not for all.. some prefer to be alone. Some prefer things I’m not equipped to describe. And that’s fine, but love is for some. I’ve decided that some means 100, so I’ve made a valentines EP in a limited edition of just 100 copies of Compact Disc. Its called If Others Call It Love… The packaging is screen printed and you can order now by pressing here , knowing it will arrive before that special day when you order a curry, drink a bottle of wine a bit too quickly, enthusiastically run to the shop to get another bottle then meet the lady or gentleman of your dreams (probably buying Italian biscuits and tea), only to discover later that you have a little Rogan Josh on your collar. Don’t worry.. everyone likes Rogan Josh.

To celebrate this release, Horse, Laurie, Gabriel and I will also be playing a small show at The Slaughtered Lamb in Farringdon on 21^st February… The perfect 2^nd date, a week after meeting your new love in a corner shop. We promise very little sometimes but this will be both intimate and warm, or failing warm, sweaty. Thats really up to you. Our last show sold out and I can only speak for myself when I say that everyone had a wonderful time.

In other news, Horse and I will be taking the train around the UK to support The Leisure Society on their February/March tour. You can find details here.

If you’re not already aware, Horse and I like to take the occasional tour by train.. We trade Alan Bennett impressions, play Birds of Prey Top Trumps and strike up ill advised conversations with deranged people on long distance journeys with no possible means of escape.
